Museo Larco in Pueblo Libre

The museum is housed in an 18th-century viceroyalty mansion. Its permanent exhibition invites visitors to explore the more than 5,000-year history of ancient Peru. Do not miss the erotic pottery exhibition. You may learn a couple of things there! There are a couple of options of where to eat close by: the café inside the museum (nice ambiance) or nearby at a traditional tavern called the “Antigua Taberna Queirolo”.

Huaca Puccllana
Short tour to La Huaca Miraflores. Huaca Pucllana or Huaca Juliana is a great adobe and clay pyramid located in Miraflores. It is a pre-Incan structure and was built from seven staggered platforms. Circuito Magico del Agua

Callao – Real Felipe
Callao is a historic district of Lima and home to the most important port in Peru. Beware, like any maritime port, you have to be very careful with your belongings. Real Felipe is a historic fort, built by the Spaniards, which is now a museum and historic site. Pachacamac
Ancient ruins that are the remains of an important religious center built more than 1,000 years before the Inca Empire. You can visit the ruins only on a tour (half day) or combine it with another tour that also includes an exhibition of Caballos de Paso (Peruvian horses) and lunch.

Explore Barranco Museums and Art Galleries
In Barranco, there are several museums like Pedro de Osma, which has a very large private collection of different pieces of art. https://museopedrodeosma.org/; the museum MATE, which is Mario Testino’s museum, with a collection of pictures of Princess Diana https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Museo_Mario_Testino; and MAC museum of contemporary art https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Museum_of_Contemporary_Art_of_Lima. Art galleries are also everywhere in Barranco, such as Dedalo or Wu Galeria.
Lima Center and Museums
You will need at least half a day to explore Lima Center. The main area is the Plaza de Armas and all the buildings surrounding the plaza. There you will find the Presidential Palace, the Arch Bishop's Palace, the Cathedral, the Town Hall, and a large fountain in the center of it all

The Gold Museum of Peru and Weapons of the World is a Peruvian history museum.
Barrio Chino
Visit the real street market and Chinatown in Lima Center. Recommendation: for safety go with a local.
