Miraflores

Where we will be staying

Miraflores is the most popular place for tourists, foreign expats, and locals to go shopping, have a good meal, relax in a nice café, party in one of the many bars or clubs, and savor the cultural life. The district has a lot to offer. Enjoy the main parks in the center, such as Parque Central and Parque Kennedy (known for the cats living there), and look for souvenirs in the Indian Market a few blocks away. The other part of Miraflores is located on the seafront, where you can walk, run, or bike along the cliffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Along Miraflores boardwalk, known as the "Malecon", you will find many pleasant parks joining each other to form a green space that follows along the coastal line. It is possible to go Paragliding or go down to the beach to do some surfing (lessons are available!). The view over the Pacific Ocean is stunning. On clear days you can see the whole bay from Chorrillos in the south right up to Callao in the north.  Larcomar, a shopping mall with many good restaurants is also located on the boardwalk.
